My Juniper Berry Hydrosols are made using Juniper Berries from my homestead in the White Mountains of Arizona (elevation >6500ft.). Each hydrosol comes in a clear plastic bottle with screw cap. You have the option of adding an antique glass bottle (late 1800s- early 1900s) in which to house your magical hydrosol in style.
I live in a magical Juniper-Pinon Forest, with many of these trees predating my native acestors who once lived on this land: Anasazi, Navajo, Hopi, and Apache. These 800-1,000 year old trees are still producing their healing medicine in the form of nettles, berries, and their bark. I only collect berries that have fallen to the ground. I make it a point to connect to the consciousness of the tree, and leave offerings where I have collected berries.
My White Mountain Juniper Berry Hydrosols are a therapeutic plant water that contains all of the water soluble nutrients and some of the fat soluble nutrients (including trace amounts of essential oils), that are created during the essential oil distillation process, and shares many of the same properties. The aroma of this hydrosol is intriguing because it changes as it ages; the fragrance has pungent sweet, fresh, spicy top notes, a coniferous, camphor-like middle range, and a deep, woody, balsamic base.
In aromatherapy, White Mountain Juniper Berry Hydrosol can produce a calming, grounding effect. The hydrosol is known for its ability cleanse and purify which can have a strengthening effect on the nerves, and uplift the spirits during times of low energy, anxiety, and weakness.
Medicinally, hydrosol is often used in promoting healthy lungs and clear breathing, soothing coughs, sore throats, and sinus headaches.
